Hi again

On the 1901 census that you referred to, she is down as b. Sheffield and aged 14 (so born c1887) but on an old thread of yours, you say she was born Derbyshire 1889 and married Nottingham in 1917.

Is the Rose Hill 1901 that you refer the correct person  :-\

There's an 1894-1900 National School (Brightside Nursery First School (Girls)) record for Sarah Ellen Lowe born 5 April 1886 - she would have been 14 at the time of the 1901 census - parent or guardian Mrs Hayes, Clay Yard. Previously at a catholic school.

well on her death certificate it says she was 79 when she died and the date of death is 1st march 1966.

on her wedding certificate it says...she was 28 in 1917.....

1966-79  = 1887
1917 -28 = 1889

What age is given on the 1911, Shaun?

If she was born 5 April 1886 then she would have been 79 at date of death on 1 March 1966. Five weeks short of her 80th birthday. That ties in.

Yes - I'm just looking at the 1891. Sarah E Roebuck is just 6 months old so can't be Sarah E Lowe.
