I had found that Bardwell marriage too whilst searching for various spellings of Havers.  It did cross my mind if it might be relevant.  But now you've highlighted the possibility too, I think I have to consider that there may well have been a mis-transcription here.  The Haverhill marriage perhaps never did exist.
I've found a few errors in the lists like that.  I must admit, it must've been hard for anyone doing the original transcriptions from the old church registers!  But it's quite satisfying when you are able to reach that ... "aaah ... I can see what's happened here" moment during some cross referencing!!  Lol
Thank you for helping me along my way.  To be honest, I think I've reached my limits in my abilities in this search to get further back.  I'll keep trying.
