Perhaps - when all this current crisis is over - you could visit Tyne Cot, a truly wonderful experience as I've been there.  AND I've visited Thiepval in France - where my grandfather is commemorated (no known grave).  It brings tears to the eyes, and a vision of how many of our ancestors gave their lives.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I've actually been there, when I was making a TV program about it.....but at the time I didn't know that my own relative was commemorated on it. The irony is not lost. Would love to return once we travel again.

Oh, the joys of hindsight!  I'm sure that most of us have been there.   :) :)

I imagine you’ve seen the Peabody Memorial for Peabody Ave Pimlico which has your relative’s name on it
