Totally off topic, but talking of gravestones I have a book A Small Book of Grave Humour bought many years ago with strange epitaphs found on headstones.

Here lies the body of Jonathan Pound, who was lost at sea and never found

Good afternoon Glyn,
That would be quite amusing I'd think.
It appeals to my sense of humour.

On a separate note, did we get politely told off for posting oversized photos? 😁

The bridge over the stream in the Japanese corner of our garden - inspired by our trip to Japan almost two years ago - and our insect hotels. No guests at the moment - Covid?

Victoria re your dry hair problem,
You could try a ‘leave in conditioner’ I often use one and they work well or otherwise VO5 do a hot oil treatment which is also good. It works well if you put it on and wrap your hair in cling film an hour before you are going to wash it. Both available from B**ts online.

Jag day for OH, had to get up at 7am so set the alarm clock. Can’t remember the last time I used it.
We were both in a deep sleep, had forgotten how horrible it is to be woken up by a beeping noise  :)

Out the house for 8am, thankfully the forecast snow didn’t come but I had covered the screen the night before just in case.
Just as well we were neurotically early as it’s so long since I have been out in the car I didn’t realise there were roadworks down the road which involved a detour.
The centre was in a part of town a bit away that I don’t usually go to, it was in a new health centre in an area which had radically changed with new building since I was last there.
Found it ok and all went well, roll on no.2.

Cold miserable day, just perfect for continuing my searching for the people who have owned/lived in my house. Recently found the wills of some of them which was fascinating. One talked about the ‘clock in the smoking room’ so have been trying to work out which room that is  :) makes it sound like it’s a stately home not a Victorian terrace !

Doesn't apply on this board? Bu**er, so I copied and resized photos unnecessarily? Oh well. How's your day going? OH's dressings OK?
