Wow, things move fast sometimes. The hospital rang just over an hour ago and asked if we could come in on Monday afternoon! They had someone scheduled for surgery Tuesday who cancelled this afternoon due to Covid. So they rescheduled. Will take OH in Monday afternoon, surgery Tuesday and all being well home again Wednesday. So a hectic weekend ahead of us. In a way just as well to get it over with as soon as possible. Now tacos and a bottle of red.
That's the way it goes sometimes, better to get it over with.
I, like everyone else wish you both the best of luck and a speedy recovery for your OH. .
Tacos and a glass or 2 of red sounds like a good idea. 🍷🍷

Glywri, Griff, I can't imagine how difficult life must be for you both on a day to day basis, it's not surprising that you feel the need to let off steam. Or 'share' as everyone seems to insist on saying these days!

MH, I'm sorry to hear how demoralised you feel, it must be awful reading about how well the vaccination programme is going in other parts of the country while you're not even getting supplies of the vaccine. I hope things improve soon and also hope that you have been able to get out for a walk today.

Annette, hope the weather is kind to you and you can make it to your dental appointment. Looks like all of those on the east side are likely to be hit with the white stuff.  :( Whoever would have thought we'd be wishing for an appointment with the dentist!
Roobarb, I don't think of it as difficult as much as frustrating really, although today has been really trying but I'll probably put that in today's diary, a bedtime story to send you off to sleep 😴
Caroline was on another thread this morning BTW.

Agree with Griff. I don’see it as difficult either. You get used to it and adapt.

Glad  you are  back MH

I think  we  are  all  feeling  a bit  down as we feel we have been almost shut  in  for  ever,  hopefully soon we can socialise  just  a little more, we don't  want much  in life, do we?, just to see our families and have a hug from  the  young ones and  that is  what  we can  look forward to in the  not  to  distant future
