thought I would ask this question here as it was WHG's brother.
Ive just been informed that my Deceased half uncle had a newspaper cutting of the obituary of Samuel Griffith(s?) he was killed in action in France on 29th July 1917. His home was Fachell Bodorgan.(Anglesey) Why this is important is that it supposedly mentions an Aunt which could possibly have been from his paternal side.
Any ideas on where to look for the obituary?
Thanks.

yes thanks for these reply's - I do have all these records - it is just the obituary that I cant find with my subscription - I note that some of the best tree's that I come across seem to use Newspaper archives extensively - probably what I should subscribe to - I thought I had it with Ancestrys 'all access' but it turns out that any article that I am interested in has an additional subscription to pay...bit of a con on Ancestry's part if you ask me....
