They had a rave on the beach last night near to where I live. Middle of winter in freezing temperatures. What idiots, 67 were fined by the police, words fail me.

Eh! Those Lancashire sheep will go anywhere for a drink! Not at all fussy who they mix with...

They might not be Lancashire sheep. They might have strayed over the border from Yorkshire. They might be Swaledales. So far they've kept mum about where they came from and the reason for their presence.

They may have been attracted by the name of the town, Baa-cup and decided to check out that popular ovine watering place. So far, nearby Ramsbottom has no reports of sheep breaking lockdown rules. Ewes in the vicinity of that town may be better-behaved than their Bacup counterparts.

No Yorkshire sheep would venture over the border into Lancashire. All too busy slurping "Black Sheep" beer. They know the good stuff....
