Hi Monica

Yes I have the details for her half sister, that is why I though Annie and Catherine had emigrated.  They also had a sister who emigrated Agnes who emigrated to the USA.

Great minds think alike ha ha

There is a shipping manifest for Margaret arriving in Canada in 1921:

Margaret Marshall
Birth Place: Kilwinning, Scotland
Age: 46
Date of Arrival: 1921
Port of Arrival: Quebec
Port of Departure: Edinburgh, England
Ship Name: Tunisian

This looks to be her first time in Canada from the notes for her and she was travelling with husband Robert. They give the address for their son in law, William Waugh, as their contact in Canada.

I know they had one sister Agnes park born 4/7/1859 who I believe emigrated to USA Pawtucket, Providence, Rhode Island, USA Around 1913

You likely have this too for Agnes? www.findagrave.com/memorial/104406623/agnes-fyfe

The Fyfe family were certainly in the US by 1915 when they show on the Pawtucket census. A great source for US census is always Family Search, entries often linked to other documents.

Hi Monica

I used to access Ancestry through the library, but have not been able to do so during the lockdown.

I have followed this up and found a 1901, 1911 census and a death certificate for Annie which shows she died in the poorhouse.  The 1911 census shows she had 8 children, 7 alive,  I however can only find 7 children in total and there were only 6 on the 1911 census which did not make sense so I will need to investigate further.

I have also managed to find spouse's for all her children, so I can no work on these.  So thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

I will get back to you on Agnes and Margaret tomorrow, as it is getting late now,

Again thank you Monica

With the information you gave me regarding Margaret Marshall visiting their son in law William Waugh, I have now been able to tie him  together with Margaret's daughter Janet. I did not previously have anything for her.

Hi Monica

Re your answer on Agnes Park, I did have most of the information, but will look in FamilySearch to see if there is anything else I may have missed.

Thanks Again

Maria, the only one still missing in action is Elizabeth I think? Like you, struggle so far to see her past 1881...

There are three possible marriages for Elizabeth 1884 - 1891 in Ayrshire, however no corresponding 1891 census.

There is this census in 1891, no other Park members present?

PARK   ELIZABETH   1891      23   599/ 13/ 1   Kilwinning   Ayr
