I've looked at Baster - gosh that's a messy transcript they've even got the above family as the same family and James being a wife when clearly it shows HEAD. The wife's name is the same as his son's which is why I'm confused and don't think it's him as the age is 10 years wrong as well too much wrong to assume anything is correct on that.

Ellen Baxter x Clark I didn't have a marriage place or date so that's brilliant thank you I'll try and add that in. Yes Ellen's dad is Thomas mum Ann and we think then James Baxter is Ellen's grandfather. It's hopping around from Yelling, St Neots and Huntingdon.

Not sure the only proof of age we have is the marriage stating 18 years but from family accounts that could have been wrong as she lied to get out of servitude.

bless you thank you so much for the help I've struggled to untangle the information it's so easy to get lost following the wrong thread or copying someone else's mistakes.

Possibly transcribed as Clarke?  Couple in Bedford area with the right forenames and ages
