- he had been in good health,
- although he had been deaf for many years
- deceased deafness had prevented him from getting work
- and he went out "foraging" for wood and coals in the street
- deceased knocked down by butcher's cart in King Street,
- and a wheel ran over his legs
- he was taken to the hospital and died soon after
- from failure of the heart
- jury returned verdict of "Accidental death"
