Hello, nice to read your news, so busy, walking, cooking, card making .gardening.
I have been ,er well, a bit poorly this last week.
I get a lot of severe indigestion ,so many drugs and drops etc, have had it for years and years .
Mistook my heart attack for another episode !
To be brief, it was four days after before I got  treatment ,my then( not now!)
G.P said I had severe indigestion and a chest infection!
On the point of collapse four days later rushed to hospital to be told I’d had a major heart attack . Since  when really bad indigestion frequently.
Decided I’d had enough so ,well today got a GP phone consultation .
She agreed I have had no heart checks or drug review for far too long .
Thought the “ indigestion “ might be angina ,as I do get neck and arm pains
but that is how it has always been .
I have the spray but was told initially not to use it if I was not sure it was angina .
So never have ,but a new symptom this week is hot flushes ,so either just my luck to have two menopauses or it is heart trouble!
So Rapid Access Chest pain Clinic ,—- but it will be at least two weeks before I get there! ;D ;D ;D ;D
Anyway feeling much better today despit a weetabix this morning ,a small ham sandwich mid afternoon and a couple of wait for it——- RICH TEA biscuits and a drink of milk !

She assured me I must use the spray if the symptoms return , and why I was told not to—— by the heart nurse who visited me at home for a couple of weeks after leaving hospital, she could not understand.
I am a miracle of survival!  ::)
So not done much really , and so it is good to read your news ladies .

Got a gardening catalogue ,have decided to get Flash Harry an apple tree or pear with two sorts grafted on ,Conference and William, Braeburn and Bramley.
He has so many toys ,Birthday in May so delivered now should be in blossom
for  then.
Must order some shrub roses too ,fancy a mauve one but another, same colouring as Peace  but also a shrub.
Allium bulbs, tulips, daffodils and hyacinths all in bud .
Also small Aliums , and Christmas present Muscari will come out in two weeks .
By that I mean from the cool dark place theyy have been since planting .

Wel almost one fifteen so wash, teeth and bed where the electric blanket will have got it all snug.
Look after yourselves,
Viktoria.

Victoria, sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. Hope you improve quickly.
Roobarb, yes there is a Thames here.  A bit shorter than yours, but not by a whole lot.  Many of the towns along it were named for English places.  About an hour away is the river Avon, with the town of Stratford on it, and has a famous Shakespeare plays festival every year.
Had a chat with a friend today, she is getting her Covid shot soon, they are finally rolling them out here.
Had our grocery pick up today.  My usual apple sauce was replaced with a sour brand I dislike. Think I will make an apple sauce cake!
Three weeks ago I ordered a small platform table that I could do puzzles on on the bed, but it just won’t work.  It is too high and I can’t reach the far side very well.  I would have to pay the postage to mail it back but the company is only half an hour away so I think I will phone and see if I can drive it back.
A return to winter today! Cold and windy, really bitter, apparently going to feel like -20 C tonight, with the wind.  In Like a lion, as they say...  Will be snug under the covers!  Funny, duvets have never caught on here.
We have finished Doc Martin and All Creatures Great and Small and have one more Queen’s Gambit.  Tonight we watched The Canadian Baking Show Ep 3, and a few minutes of a show we found on Acorn, The Indian Doctor.  We will give it a try.  OH has been enjoying the Women’s Curling championship in Calgary which finished last night.  He is missing his recreational curling this year.  He had his last game a year ago just before lockdown.
Back to my Anne Perry book now.

I saw a couple of episodes of The Indian Doctor on Tv here Diana - it seemed watchable, so you might enjoy it. As mentioned on previous posts I’ve recently finished watching Last Tango in Halifax - there are five series I think, including a couple of Christmas specials - if you can get that in Canada, you might enjoy it, though I thought that the early series were better - it got a bit silly towards the end. Still watchable though.

Now Viktoria. I am concerned that you have been unwell, but am glad you spoke to the doctor and have an appointment for the chest pain clinic. You made me smile with your second menopause comment. Such a lovely idea to buy FH some fruit trees - I bet he will be thrilled with them particularly with two varieties on one tree. Look after yourself.  ;D

Viktoria so sorry to hear you’ve not been feeling well of late... I thought we’d not seen much of you.
Hope the pain clinic can help out and good to have a chat with your doctor for reassurance....
The thought of two menopause’s brought me out in a hot flush 😂😂 the first was enough thank you!
Lovely idea of fruit trees for FH something he can enjoy for years to come..
Take care of yourself now and take life a little easy... you deserve it.

Diana - brrr back to cold freezing 🥶 weather again... best tucked up with your jigsaws... pity about your bed table contraption....

Viktoria, glad to hear you're feeling better, that must have been so worrying for you. Good to have your doctor's advice while you're waiting for your appointment.

Pleased to hear the vaccination programme is getting underway over there Diana, hopefully it won't be too long before you get yours.

Thankyou,  I have  these episodes frequently and just wait for them to go.
Seeing however the thorough way my son’s episodes  are being treated  and  me not having any medication revues for years nor any heart checks  for
donkey’s years I realised I was being too complacent .
So on the treadmill at the Chest Pain Clinic  etc etc, next Tuesday 9th.
My Doctor is lovely ,I can talk to her ,I phoned to see what better medication I could have than Lanzoprazole ,it just doesn’t work.
She was alarmed that this time I was going very hit - not happened before.

Do you know this flipping predictive tixt mokes me like look he Paloosemon
In ‘ello’ello!!

Such a cocktail of drugs and eye drops etc !
But what would that cost me without the NHS !
Cheerio.Viktoria.
