Surprised Sandra that you are still aware of this topic, do you continue to remember all the topics that  weren't resolved?

No not all but it is nice to go back and revisit occasionally. You never know what new information is available, which sometimes helps.  Some of those today were over 10 years old.

Yes some new records do turn up but not so much for Canada and Commonwealth countries due to their severe dp,

My mother Judith Ann Riley is the child of George Arthur Riley and Helen Cowan Allison. He would be my grandfather.

Hi elizabethbodon do you have any more information on George and Helen's children? Your mother is the only one whom I'm now aware of!
Your mother is my 6th cousin, once removed and you and she have ancestry going back to the 1500s.

Hi John , was so happy to hear your reply! George and Helen had two daughters, the other being Elizabeth whom now is 87. Judy is 81 August 8th.(1941) I did not have the opportunity to meet George as my grandparents divorced. It has been said that he was found in bed with the housekeeper/nanny at their residence in London Ontario!, thus leading to the divorce. It made the local papers at the time. How things have changed . The only other thing I can tell you is he died at a fairly young age , not sure when. If indeed his parents are buried in Perth County here ,  it is only 20 minutes away from me . What a small world indeed this is. I would be grateful if you could share anything you know of my lineage.
