Gladys Wickens death registered in 1901 Portsmouth.

Not seen where the information regarding birth and death in 1898 and Denzil Road is on the census.  :-\

The wonderful 1911 Census forced exposure of family secrets. In Guilford, in 1898 on Denzil Rd. a baby was  born and died, the Census claims. I suspect that the whole episode was not recorded in birth records. But they would have had to bury the infant, I suppose.
Any help on this topic, such as a name, if given, or burial site, if undertaken, is greatly appreciated.

Am unable to see this on the census record; all 1911 census shows is that 2 children have died, no year or address.

To all of you who spent time on my query, I thank you most sincerely. My only sad regret is that my father, in fact all his siblings, will never know about Albert. As for May, yes, that I found as was known by all.

Sad indeed, but at least we found him so that you and others will remember his name at least.
