Hi,
There are quite a few.
First names help as the early Tithe records 73 names listed.

No Ballingarry isn't that far, it's the other side of Croom.

Maggsie, I still think I might have two families:

Maurice Kirby and sons John and Patrick at Bohergeela in 1761 - Maurice died in 1763.

a Patrick Kirby at Glenogra in 1764 (Calendar of Convert Rolls).
a Patrick Kirby residing at Ballingarry  with freehold at Boherdellane in 1768.

but I'm not sure I can say they are the same Patrick.

A Patrick died in 1782 with probate to his brother Maurice Kirby of Boherpedelane - his sole heir.

A Maurice Kirby died before 1791 (late of Glenogra according to his daughter's death notice in 1791)
Maurice's wife died in 1818, late of Glenogra.

And that's as far as I've got :-)

Hi Jang,
you say
Maurice's wife died in 1818, late of Glenogra.
Was she Honora nee Kennedy?
Her address was Horans Quay, which is in Limerick City.

these ..... I would say they are the same person.
a Patrick Kirby at Glenogra in 1764 (Calendar of Convert Rolls).
a Patrick Kirby residing at Ballingarry  with freehold at Boherdellane in 1768.

The area where they were is between Ballingarry and Croom.
Townlands names changed over the years then miss spellings etc.

I looked to see if any headstones listed for Kirby and Kerby, sadly none.
Your years are just before many of the online records.

Maggsie, I don't know if Honora was nee Kennedy. I found her death notice in the Ennis Chronicle Sat 17 June 1818:
Died on Honan's Quay, Limerick, Mrs Kerby, relict of the late Maurice Kerby Esq of Glanogra.
How did you know she was nee Kennedy?
