Just found in the GRO  a James Coe Mar 1838 14 50 mother Cattle

That looks promising then.

A tree on Ancestry says the mother is Mary Ann Cattell

Married William Coe  18 Nov 1823 and had children, of whom Harriet is the last.
Mary Ann dying 1844

The next youngest child is James William, said to be born Jan 1838. No sign in the GRO

This Mary Ann did not die in 1844.  The GRO reg they have linked is Cattell. Should be Coe.  And nothing in the parish register .

I cannot see a baptism for Harriet in 1842/1842/1843. Frustrating.

And yet there are these deaths in March qrtr 1844

Coe    Mary        Chesterton    14   33

Am going mad.
Here is 1844 bishops transcripts for burials 1844. Neither of them are there are they?

GRO deaths for Coe 1844. Frederick age 2 (14 33), Mary 0 (14 33), and Sarah 6 (14 35).

On the 1851 William COE is listed as married.

They're listed on the 1841(Ancestry) as CROE.
