It is possible Ellen TOMNEY/TOWNEY had a tendency to arson earlier than the 1864 occasion.
 
This news item from 1857 is an account of suspected arson in and around the holding of Felix TOWNEY. Felix is blamed for inaction in the event.

Here is a brief history of the Parkside Asylum c.1870 where it seems likely Ellen died as Tree Spirit has noted.

Thank You to everyone for the information you have been able to find.  I would never have found any of it.  All I knew about Felix Tomney/Towney is he was my G G Grandmother Elizabeth Berghofer second husband.
I agree that the Berghofer Family did arrive from Hamburg to Moreton Bay on the Cesar Godeffrey in 1863.
