Thank you Ladyhawk last night I mistakingly thought Charlotte Porter in the 1881 census was nee Wilson and wasted a bit of time looking for her, but about 1/2 hour ago I found she was nee Slater which was Elizabeth’s Sister. I now think I have the full picture up to the marriage of John Thomas Wilson and Margaret Frances Wilson in Tynemouth 1915. The Tynemouth 1939 registers are a bit of a mystery John Thomas wife Margaret Frances children John Thomas, Violet, Margaret, Rose and Enoch dont seem to be together obviously young JT and Margaret could have married and moved on but the others are still children
My friend is trying to get some info from his elderly aunt

the children may be redacted on the 1939 register. Which site are you using to find the family?

There is only 1 Margaret F Wilson in Tynemouth and she is at the same address as John born 16 Aug 1891.

The Tynemouth 1939 registers are a bit of a mystery

You may find that some records are hidden or redacted, which is to protect the privacy of people who are still alive. While the records will be opened gradually over time, you can also contact The National Archives to request a record be closed, or opened if you believe the person to be deceased.

I’m sending you a PM as I think one of the children mentioned may have married 1940 so you can take a look and see what you think
