Hi Rosie, yes I did download the certificate but it was NOT my Mary Ann Barclay.  So I am still looking for Mary A Barclay (Mrs. Annie Scott)
anything and everything to do with the village of Brithdir, near New Tredegar in Gwent.

There is a death for a Mary Ann Isbist other name Donaldson died 1980 Morningside age 87  mothers maiden name Bett

SP index lists her as Mary Ann Isbist... Barclay, other surname Donaldson, 87, mother's maiden surname Bett.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

I did see the marriage to Donaldson but was put off purchasing the certificate. The newspaper snippet dated 1909 shows a notice by wife and family, another by daughter Annie and third by daughter Mrs. Scott.  I presume that Mary Ann is Annie, so who is Mrs. Scott?????.

I downloaded the marriage to Donaldson this morning and it is the correct one, Mary Ann is the daughter of Adam Barclay and Janet (Bett).

Just downloaded a death for Janet Allan Scott other name Barclay
She died 23 December 1954 West Calder married to James Scott ( coal bagger retired)
Father Adam Barclay
Mother Janet Bett

Record on global grave stones

I also got the marriage for Janet Allan Barclay 1897 West Calder to a John Scott Crosser
Parents Adam Barclay Janet Bett

I can not see another marriage to a James Scott so far or a death for a John Scott Crosser?

John S Crosser  age 29 born Old Monkland ( shale miner drawer )
Janet S Crosser age 25 born West Calder
Adam D B Crosser age 6 born West Calder
Janet A B Crosser age 7 months born West Calder

On Adam Barclay Scott  army record 1915 he has his mother down next of kin as Mrs James Scott
12 ,Kirkgate West Calder .

1911 census the family are listed as Scott might be worth a view
Adam and Janet marry under the name of Scott
