death cert info
« on: Sunday 21 March 21 12:03 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I'm probably asking the impossible but thought id put out there to all you wizards! I ordered what I hoped would be my G Grandmothers death cert, hopefully showing an address or someone that is relevant....but the cert doesn't really give me any info I can go on, I was hoping for maybe one of her children to be on the informant part....is there any way I can find out if this is my Sarah Ford? Her last address on 1911 census was in Croydon, however her whole life had been around Battersea and Lambeth. I have checked 9 Grant Road and there appears to be a Thomas John Nash at the same address...her sister married a John Nash but they had no living children and both her sister and her husband are deceased. Any little snippet to try would be much appreciated

No, as i cant find his death, all i know is he was alive in 1901 at the workhouse (with his family) but on the 1911 Sarah says she's a widow, also his name is too common for me to order all the death certs that could possible be him.

I see that you have another post where John has posted a baptism in 1899 for William Charles Ford, parents Thomas & Sarah - father Thomas a Labourer - abode 51 High Street, Bow.  Is this the same couple

When Thomas Ford married Sarah Turner in 1881 she did not mention a middle name.
