Hand Writing help
« on: Monday 22 March 21 14:16 GMT (UK) »
Hi can anyone make out what it says along side William Charles Ford please....I can make out Sarah Ford mother. c/o brother in law James Cottrell of high street Croyden, Somebody said it says Thanet place. I can also just make out Mrs Hunt, sister Battersea 188 Meyrick road...I can only really make that out as iVe seen it on my g grandmothers marriage cert from 1905, so just by having that i can make that out but not all of it. Thank you.

I have cropped the image but they seem quite blurry now so here is the link to the full documents.

The moderators will remove those images.  You need to crop the areas you want us to decipher, you could also give the link to the original pages.  You can go back into your post to do this.

I have enlarged before cropping, should be clearer.

On left hand sheet I can see 'Sister Mrs Hunt ??54 Wye St Battersea' then reading across 'Mother Sarah was in Workhouse; brother-in-law James Cottrell 19 Thanet Place High Street Croydon' then underneath [something] Mrs May ?Carter ? Horton ? Norton 188 Meyrick St'

Not much you didn't know though...

Above 'Sarah' [but could refer to previous entry] is '13 Barrow Hills Croydon 28.04.09'

where it says sister mrs Hunt, it doesnt say marriage, it says 24 Wye st, Battersea which is where she lived with her new husband 188 meyrick rd, was her address before marriage, meyrick road is still there and i would like to know what it says, but its so hard to read,
