Very interesting because my dads side has roots from Norfolk for years in those times but surname is steeles

Coulson I've not got that in my family tree at all.

Also my dads side is the one with the Canada connection he's mentioned an Auntie Margaret that they were told to call her she used to send them gifts again no idea where she fits in the tree.

Thank you for sending those links the description of him is familiar short (like my dads side) blues eyes!

There appears to have been a child born to this marriage....

Ellen Kathleen Lucina Coulson mmn Steele
Dec qtr 1901 Downham

Check the 1911 census for Thirza and Ellen.

Looks like Ellen might have married a J F Welsh in 1929 but this would require the cert to verify.

Edited to add: just realized I'm probably not allowed to post here what I just did about the 1911 census so have removed it and reworded.

We search for information but it is up to the thread owner to verify that it is correct.

It might be worth considering sending an email to the general info section at https://www.ourcommons.ca/en/contact-us, for fowarding to the Sergeant-at-Arms office, asking how your contact details were obtained.

Children were told to call all sorts of people Aunt & Uncle, including parents' friends and neighbours, so this Auntie Margaret may not be in your tree.

An A C Coulson aged 28, appears on a passenger list heading to Canada in 1905. Possibly the Arthur C who was married to Thirza A, given he had been with her in 1901 but he was not with her in 1911, yet she was not widowed. Could he have left Thirza, and despite not being divorced from her, married Florence Mable Rolling once in Canada?

Red herring to avoid:
There was an Arthur Coulson who married a Thirza and was was still with her in 1939, with a bith year of 1866.  That Thirza, however, had a middle initial J and Arthur was a Railway Clerk, so likely this couple in the 1901:

Arthur Coulson   Head   Male   35   Scopwick, Lincolnshire
Thirza J___? (transcribed Jael) Coulson   Wife   Female   32   Runwell, Essex
Mabel F Coulson   Daughter   Female   11   Hornsey Rise, London
Arthur O Coulson   Son   Male   9   Crouch Hill, Middlesex
