James Henry Bond Railways in Hull
« on: Monday 29 August 05 08:58 BST (UK) »
 :) Hi!

Could someone lookup James Henry Bond Born in York 1860. Occupation Fireman
I can't find him on 1891 or 1901 Census in York.
He may have been a Railway Fireman not the York Fire Brigade!
Another Rootschatter said he may have gone to somewhere like Hull or Newcastle to work on the Railway there!
I don't know whether you will find him in Hull? ???

Thanks,
Jennirosa

Well this family popped up, although the details are incorrect there seemed such a coincidence that I wondered if you wanted to keep them on file in case of a future connection.

Sorry, I doubt that they are connected at all, the same family in 1901 are at 9 Maple Street, Sculcoates with only young James Hy an 18 Bookmaker's Apprentice at home.  The ages of the parents are the same so there doesn't appear to be an error  :(
