There could be another connection as Patrick’s wife Rose Robinson, looks like she may have been previously married and actually be Rose McFadden, the witness on Rose Feeneys death is also a McFadden.

John that I’m after has kids Rose, Mary, John, Ellen, Katherine, Nora, George, Winifred, Frank and Martin.

His wife Mary has siblings George and Ellen. So it actually looks reasonable, if you say Rose, John, Katherine are from his family.

Just speculating though lol

Looking at 1901 census:
Patrick and family are living in Maxwell Street.
John and Mary are in Peel Street.
Both men are Gas Stokers.

A map shows that Peel Street runs off Maxwell Street.

There may well be a connection between John Clarke and his wife Mary. Have you found that?

Here is a birth for Pat Clark/e son of Pat and Mary (Hannon) in 1868 - Inismagrath but father is living Newcastle.

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1868/03441/2263436.pdf

There is a death in Newcastle, 1870 which is possible. He does not appear on 1871 census.

Then there is John Clark b 1865 - parents, Patrick and Mary nee Hannon - residence Ardvoley.

Thanks again, I’m finding more links, so John Clarke marries Mary Clarke, her parents are Patrick Clarke (1835 Enidmarth, Leitrim??) and  Mary Hannon (1845 Leitrim) they live on Peel Street, next door to John and Mary in the 1891 census.

Patrick, John Clarke and Mary Feeneys son, sister Mary 1866 Ardvoley, marries Thomas Hannon.
