As a possibility to consider, note that a couple called Henry Morgan and Mary Mathews got married in Togher RC parish on 21 April 1854...


Just assuming for now that the above are the right folk (until ruled out), I noticed another son - slotting in between Julia and James - Henry born in 1867 at Dillonstown:

Apologies I haven't replied earlier, but I'm still checking all the links you kindly provided. We really appreciate everyone's help as we were completely lost as there were no more records for Dundalk on Ancestry.
