Sorry Heywood,
I should have clarified that the two girls were recorded on both the 1901 and 1911 Censii (Elizabeth and Kathleen Donnolly) at 16 Green Street Wexford. They went Bristol sometime after 1911 before moving on to Barcelona in 1915/16.

I can’t see her in England or Ireland as yet.

I see now that I have the wrong sisters in 1901. ::)

Not to worry....I seem to stymied at every turn.....many of the Spanish records were destroyed in the Civil War....I had hoped to find details in Spanish telephone directories but to no avail.
I have attached a copy of her card announcing the engagement of 'one of the girls' - Lillie (my Grandmother) - to my Grandfather complete with their addresses.....their is no mention of her address  though it is thought my Grandmother lived with her until her wedding (1928).
Interestingly she is named as on the 'Engagement Card' as Ms. Katie Donnelly (not sure if the 'e' was a typo or an effection she adopted in Spain).....that at 58 she was still referring to herself as 'Miss' is noteworthy too!

Ireland was still a part of the UK, so no passenger lists for what was a domestic journey.

If Catherine was a nun, she may be listed under her "nun's" name rather than her real name?

Had thought of the 'nun's name' earlier....but looked at the returns for an 'enclosed order' in Wexford and all nuns are listed with Christian Names and Surnames (+county of birth) as opposed to a religious name of 'Sr. something'....so no joy there either.
