Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that we can a lay a digital poppy in remembrance of our war heroes.

"A great way to honour someone who served is to lay a digital poppy on their Roll of Honour record in our Online Cenotaph. Simply search for the person you would like to honour, then click the 'Lay a poppy for 2021' button."

I sent messages to my grandchildren who found the photographs of their ancestors on the website, interesting. A great-great-great aunt was one of the first 50 nurses to leave New Zealand to serve overseas. She lived to 101 years of age; that made an impression too.

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
