William Haynes Marriage Brick Wall

I confirm I have the John & Elizabeth Haynes you noted as my William`s parents. William in later Census Returns is noted as a Shoemaker and Master Bootmaker therefore carrying on his father`s trade.

The Ann Beard christened on 30 July 1809 in Painswick could be a sibling of the Thomas Beard you mentioned as coming from a non-conformist family.

I guess it`s possible as we know that widows and widowers didn`t hang around long before finding new partners in these times.

Lots of bits and pieces that link Ann Beard and William Haynes but the crucial evidence of their marriage is still evading me/us.  If either of you think of anything else please update this thread as I shall do if I discover any evidence.

The only extra info I can see at the moment - looking through Rodborough Marriages for witnesses etc.

Joseph GIBBONS of this Parish, and Harriet PAUL of this Parish
were married in this Church by Banns 9 August 1835 -

witnesses: William HAYNES - who signs his name

The mark X of Ann HAYNES.
