James Clarke and Elizabeth?
« on: Thursday 13 May 21 16:32 BST (UK) »
Trying to find a marriage for James Clarke and Elizabeth? they had a son born 31st July 1820-Jesse Clarke, and there may well have been other siblings as well. Jesse born Maidwell, Northampton, father James was a Farmer. I have all the information I need on Jesse, but trying to move back in time through my Great Grandparents.
Regards.

Have you found the ages and birthplaces of James and Elizabeth on censuses?  This could narrow down the likely timescale and parishes to search in.

I do have a copy of Jesse's baptism, and there is a note at the bottom giving his actual birth as 31/7/1820 so 4 years before his baptism. I didn't have the others though so thanks for that.
