Found the c1861, Looby, my record is showing Janet Pittle 😂 but it is a transcription!  Will follow up on this lead more, shame no marriage record but hey ho!  Also thanks for link Scotmum re irregular marriages, I believe that it’s practiced in Belgium but called something else if my memory serves, so unbeknownst I had heard of this before, it was reading your link that put 2&2 together

Georgina becoming a Bendle in My Heritage 👍🏻 It was the Bendles that started me on this!

You may not have a marriage for George and Janet, but  having Williamina staying with them in 1881 has been a good bonus, as through her you can link George beyond, I would say, doubt, to the Applegarth family group.

It can often prove to be very worthwhile following up on relatives/visitors living with families in a census.
