Looking for the marriage of James Mustey/Musty and Mary? circa 1816 

I have the birthdates of their children - all born Black Bourton except James born c.1817

any help gratefully received

There is no record on the OMI of a James MUSTEY/MUSTY marrying a Mary.

This is the only MUSTEY/MUSTY marrying anyone of that name:

31 DEC 1810 - Robert MUSTEY (Lt. Barrington) to Mary MAIDS at Taynton

             There is no record of the above marriage in the B B parish records.
There is a James Musty marrying Elizabeth Wilkins 14 Aug. 1836 if this is of any use to you.

The 1836 marriage is for James and Mary's son James (born Chipping Norton 1817)

James Musty senior was born (according to1851census) Black Bourton c. 1795 and Mary  was born Chipping Norton c.1794

Haven't had any luck looking for the marriage in Chipping Norton so thought  it may have been in Black Bourton

still looking for James Musty senior's birth.

              There is no sign of James senior's bap in B B parish records. Have also looked at Alvescot and Broadwell but,again, no luck

I have just found a James MUSTOE baptised 18/8/1793  Black Bourton parent Sarah on the IGI.  I think this could be him as the MUSTY name is often transcribed differently.

I would be grateful if you could check this entry on the Parish Records for me and let me know what you think

            Just checked records and that entry is there . Given the that the spelling left a lot to be desired in those days and coupled with local accents spoken I think this could well be an entry of interest to you. If you like I will see if there are anymore Mustoes in the records.

Other variations of the name are (Mustee/Mustey/Musto/Mustin and possibly Marson
