Any use?    I found these whilst looking for something else.

Charles, son of John and Sarah Lowther, can't make out the address, Potter.

June 1st 1840 St Johns Parish
Joseph, son of I think Joseph and Mary Lowther, Ramsay Brow, engineman (think)

Jun 15th 1842 St Johns -  Strange names
Thomson?? son of Thomson and Sarah Lowther, cant make out address, Potter

Feb 12th 1845 St Johns -
Richard, son of Thomson and Sarah Lowther, Potter

May 11th 1847 St Johns
Sarah Dau of Thomson and Sarah Lowther, Potter

I don't know about the name Thomson or the address it looks like Townhead but not sure

Hi Andrew,

I think the name will be Tolson sometimes it is written as Toroson, Towson or Toloson.  I have records for some of these folks in the census but these baptisms are new to me.

I'm not on this line directly but there are at least 4 researchers I know who are.  I think my 6 times great grandfather is related to this Tolson's grandfather brothers or cousins?

This will help unravel the mysterious potter dynasty!

I don't have the names in my tree and at the moment I can't see any Holmes in my spreadsheets.  I will keep a note to compare.
