Offer: NSW Convict Musters and 1828 Census
« on: Tuesday 30 August 05 02:03 BST (UK) »
For those who need help with tracing a convict ancester I have the following books available for lookups:

Musters and Lists - NSW and Norfolk Island 1800-1802
Musters of NSW and Norfolk Island 1805-1806
General Muster & Land and Stock Muster of NSW 1822
General Muster List of NSW 1823, 1824, 1825
NSW 1828 Census

These lists are helpful as they can provide the name of the ship the convict arrived on, where he/she was tried (sometimes), sometimes age, whereabouts at the time of the muster and often who they had married or were partnered with and often their family group.

When making the request, it might be best to start its own thread in the list, to avoid confusion.

Cheers
