It appears that he and his wife had at least five children:

Charles (b: 1902) ;  James Watt (b: 1905) ;  Kathleen  (b: abt 1903) ;  Jane (b: abt 1907) and Robert (b: 1911).

It would be great to know what happened to these children

Do you have access to the link I posted for the McNinch public family tree?

The information on the tree would need to be verified as I think they have attached the wrong death date 21 Nov 1956 for James Watt McNinch born c1905.

That death date appears to be for a James Watt McNinch born 4 July 1889 - see this link https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/9Q8M-1RN/james-watt-mcninch-1889-1956

Birth 10 May 1902 The Hill, Monaghan, Ireland died Jan 1952  Manchester, Lancashire
Edit - He is in Manchester Birmingham (1939) with his wife but we cannot post details
Marriage 1930 St James Parish Church Belfast to Anne Priscilla Beamish born 1906 died 1966,
one child name is private
There is a picture attached to Anne's name possibly with her parents

Kathleen McNinch born 1904
1911 Ireland census, no other details

James Watt McNinch Born 1906
Died 21 Nov 1956  Northern Ireland
(as posted previously I think this could be the wrong death date)
1911 Ireland census, no other details

Jane McNinch born 29 Sep 1907 Monaghan, Ireland

DEATH OF MR. R. M'NINCH
ON THE HANSARD STAFF
The death took place to-day of Mr. Robert M'Ninch, 13 Princetown Road, Bangor, after a brief illness.  Mr. M'Ninch, who was in his 67th year, was a member of the Parliamentary reporting staff at Stormont since the establishment of the Government.  He was a son of the late Mr. James W. M'Ninch, first editor of the "Newtownards Chronicle" and was well known in journalistic circles in Belfast and Dublin where he was on the staff of the "Irish Times."  He is survived by his wife, three sons and three daughters.
