On Annie Stewart’s marriage to John McIntosh in 1885, she names her father as John Stewart, mason.

On the 1861 census for Rathven, there is a suitable John Stewart, 19, mason. This John Stewart is the son of James Stewart and Georgina Munro, b. abt 1841, Buckie. He married Jane Cormack in 1869 in Buckie. They had 12 children (according to several trees on Ancestry). John Stewart died in 1914 in Buckie.
