I am looking for any information on Thomas Fletcher born in 1815 in Ireland and died in Looe Cornwall in 1896.

Can you please be more specific, what information do you already have.

The William A Fletcher on the 1881 census is probably the illegitimate son of Bridget.

If correct there's a great tree on Anc* with a photograph of Thomas Fletcher alleging he was a smuggler.

Hi All,
Thank you for all your comments, I have most of the information collated now. Yes, indeed he was a member of the Coastguard before he absconded and became a Smuggler.

Just trying to find out if any of his ancestors still live in Cornwall.
