I have a David Herbert on my family tree, he married a Mary Benjamin, but I cannot find out who his father is, please help, and thanks in advance

As he died after the 1851 census where does it state that David was born.  Where did he marry Mary

Can you also include details of which county he lived & died in as you have posted on the Beginners Board.  There are no David Herbert deaths on freebmd in 1856 or 1857 matching a birthyear of 1788 nor on Scotlands People

Are you sure he died in 1856?  I think you may find it was 1847
