No I dont unless someone on the Hunts list knows of them..

Emma's sister, Harriet REYNOLDS married Charles BURTON, of Kimbolton [father John BURTON]- both made their mark X. Witnesses Wm PARROT & Eliza REYNOLDS - 2nd March 1852.

I expect they settled in Kimbolton and perhaps Emma went with them, although their father [John REYNOLDS] certainly remained in Pertenhall.

The answer can only lie with her marriage certificate which will have her father's name, or of lesser value, a birth certificate of one of her children which will have her maiden name on it.

Hi Cathy

Just a note to tell you the Emma born at Petenhall Befordshire was called Reynolds.  I have a copy of my grandfather's birth certificate and it does say formerly Reynolds.

Thank you once again for all you help

Regards

Gillian

Hi all,

My Reynolds family are all from Pertenhall form any generations.

William Wrighton married both Elizabeth Gell and Emma Reynolds. The children were all with Emma Reynolds ( Arthur, Louisa, Agnes and Charles)

This Emma Reynolds was daughter of John Renholds (1805 - 1872) and Mary Garvey (1806 - 1850)

Emma had siblings Eliza, Joseph, Ann ( all older) and Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth (younger)

John Renholds was son of John Renholds b. 1777 and Elizabeth Tandy 1778 - 1815.

John (1777) was son of William Reynolds (1752 - 1807) and Susannah Maycock (1752 - 1793)

I can go further back if you need it.

Ali

Hi Ali

The information is the same as I have, but I have only got back to John Reynold 1777.  William Smith Wrighton was my Great Grandfather.  Charles was my Grandad.  I would be grateful if you could send me the information before 1777, and if you wish I could send you the information from my Grandfather Charles.

Let me if you want this information.

Thanks once again

Gillian
