BUCKNALL
« on: Friday 25 June 21 19:38 BST (UK) »
Janet Bucknall was born 1881 and lived in Jarrow. Her parents were James Bucknall and Catherine Ormiston. Janet appears in the 1891 and 1901 census with her parents, however, she does not appear on the 1911 census. I cannot find a marriage or a death record for her.
Could anyone shed any light on what happened to Janet please?
Thanks, Maple

Just to rule out a death - on the 1911 census it states James and Kate have had 4 children, 3 of whom are still living. I note that the couple had a Samuel James born in 1876 and looks like he died in 1882, so I assume Janet is still alive. Will keep looking for her ...

I thought those records would be the family too but nothing marriage wise.

I can’t find any marriage either.  Also tried SP as he was Scottish.  No probate for the 1931 or 1947 deaths so no clues.

He was considerably older than her - wonder if he already had a living wife?
