What is her occupation?

Occupation transcription help for this lady age.53 years for the 1871 census her family worked in the tailoring business. In this census her husband was a clothier foreman....

I'll agree with that - Tailoress.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

The double 's' at the end of tailoress uses the old system for a double 's'
