The parents' surname looks like it's spelled Conolly (one 'n'). And I wondered if the mother's maiden name might be Born - but since she wasn't there to ask, you might also need to consider similar names such as Burn.

The next column to the right has the witnesses. The last of these is Maria Phillips (not 'married').
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

Do you have any information about Rose's siblings who might have Scottish death or marriage certificates that could be checked?

PS if Rose (jnr) died in Scotland, that should give her mother's maiden surname.

Given that this is probably a family of Irish origin, I suspect Rose's maiden name may be Bern. The second letter (the vowel) is not joined at the top, as the letter o generally seems to be here.

I was also going to suggest Bern for the MS.

I think II might have found Rose Flood nee Connolly's death. The same address is given as on the 1871 census that appears to fit with the marriage entry. Also, there doesn't seem to be any sign of Rose after 1871.

Death - 22 May 1872

Spencers Close, Dundee
 Rose Flood, about 34.
Married to Patrick Fllod, Baotyard Labourer
Parents given as John Connolly (farmer) deceased and Rose Connolly, MS Timms (!)
Cause Phthisis Pulmonalis

Patrick Flood was the informant and might not have known what his M in L's MS was.
You would have to check
