Kate Josephine Brady
« on: Tuesday 13 July 21 15:50 BST (UK) »
Kate was born on 14th May 1894 to Philip Brady and Katherine Reilly in Drummalleght Cavan.

In 1901 Census is recorded as a visitor age 7 to Mary Clarke and her daughter Annie Francis at Beaghglebe Killinkere Cavan.

I am trying to find out where is or what happened to Kate's family and was Mary Clarke a relation.
I dont seem able to find census records for Drummalleght. Do you know if this is missing /not recorded.
Thank you

The townland is Drummallaght in the Civil Parish of Killinkere.

Here are the Bradys in the 1901 census (note one 'l' in Drummallaght).
Residents of a house 19 in Drummalaght (Termon, Cavan).

The widowed Catherine is with her seven children, including Kate aged 6.

Philip Brady died in 1899 at Drummallaght.

Thank you.
I had just found his death. Wondering if the two Kate's  could be the same child. Maybe Mary looking after her as dad had died.

Unlikely, since the form was signed by Catherine Brady.
