I posted that information as Thomas in 1901 (link given earlier) and 1911 census is a single man. His address is the same as the death informant.
That was my thinking

There is a sponsor to a couple of baptisms, Ellen Kelly. There is a marriage here for Ellen with a father, Matthew Kelly. Perhaps a sister to your Mathew?

OK we will discount the preist then. It would be nice if I could find a marriage record Matthew and Emelia/Emily, that may give me more of a clue. I wont discount any Ellen's at this point
