Joger can you explain birth Date  Groom born 9 prairial an 7 in Ravigny I assume they used the French Calendar

9 prairial an 7 ( French republican calendar ) is 28 may 1799 .

I use this converter:

From 1 january 1806, when it was abandonned , the french used the gregorian calendar again.

Then when dates had to be converted (in a marriage or death certificate) many mistakes were made .
