Garstonite that was SOOOO interesting about the football clubs, hubby was really interested.

Have to confess, even at 86, he still loves his team....the REDS ! LOL,LOL 

His brother (now deceased) was and Evertonian and his brother's sons are Evertonians.  But hubby's sister and family are all Reds.  A family divided, eh ! LOL, LOL

where are they from in Liverpool -?  obviously I am from Garston

Hubby was Wavertree and Anfield I think.

ha ha - I was born in Gateacre - and went to St Margarets High School in Anfield .. no wonder he is a Red Nose ...lol... my best mate at school lived in No2 Venus St - I am sure your hubby knows where that was ...

Hubby's brother lived in Wambo Lane, Gatacre.

He left Liverpool as a young teenager in the early 50's and moved here, down south.  He said he came down here to educate us "soft southerners" ! LOL, LOL
