I am looking for an uncle. David Oswald Davies. Born rhydcymerau,  llandeilo fawr born around 1914.

Lived penbontbryn rhydcwmerau.

Served in world war 2 as a sub lieutenant(may have bedn promoted) in royal navy.

Joined Lloyd's bank after the war. Became Lloyd's bank manager in ammanford..

I would be grateful for any additional.infornation  that could be found .

His mothers maiden name was sarah jenkins.

Yes he was married had 3 children . The son died in an accident.

The family member I have spoken to has little information.  Didnt discuss his life with him.  He was a bank manager for Lloyd's bank after the war. I believe he was posted in brustol. Then ammanford . After retirement ,he was considered an excellent after dinner speaker for plaid cymru.

We are interested in his time in the royal navy.

He died in pontergothi, carmarthenshire. He was in his 80s.

There is no David Oswald Davies birth with mmn Jenkins between 1912-1920 in Carmarthen.  There is one in 1908 which makes him 6yrs older than shown in your post
