The insignia in the first photo looks like the Royal Army Ordnance Corps.

Agree with that def RAOC badge. Being craftsmen they probably made it themselves.   'Craftsman' was the lowest ranker in RAOC.

I had RAOC Apprentices at my Army Apprentice School, Chepstow. They trained as Ammunition Techicians and graduated aged 18 or 19 as Corporals, much to the ire of us mere Sappers - RE.
Residing in Batemans Bay, Australia, but originally from 'Mother England', transported to HM Colonies in 1966.
