I have attached marriage certificate for Arthur Louis Philippart & Ellise Celestine Ghislaine ? 1910. Could anyone help with Ellise's surname. It looks like Ernaelsteen, but not sure

I decipher Alise or Alix ( not Elise),born on the 19th march 1881 in Vieux Genappe , servant ,living in Vieux Genappe daughter of the late ? Nicolas Ghislain ( Emaelsteen) and the late PLASMAN Marie Catherine Ghislaine .

Hi,

Probably doesn't make much difference, but if those are their own signatures at the bottom, it looks as though she has signed as "Alice".

I also originally thought it said "Ellise" in the text, but what looks like "El" is exactly the same as the first letter in "Arthur". An extremely beautiful "A".  :)

In the text it looks like "Alise", but her sig looks more like "c" than "s"...
