Mantua Maker

'mantua-maker', an early term for a women's dressmaker.

Just found another term I was unfamiliar with .... "Peruke maker" [wig maker].   Possibly her father in law George Rogby, but haven't joined the dots yet.

I have two deaths for a Sarah Rogby.  Both from St Peters Wisbech.  One death is recorded in 1819 and the other is recorded in 1828.  So either could fit my serch.

Can anyone see a death notice in any of the papers; matching Sarah Rogby to husband George Rogby (who died in 1805 Wisbech).  Or perhaps, the Sarah Rogby who was the mantua maker, who was possibly married to a 'Rogby'.
