Brickwall BROWN / HERON / DUNN
« on: Saturday 14 August 21 06:15 BST (UK) »

Im after as much information and help with a brick wall with my partners family. So If anyone has an Urge to help a brick wall, here it is!

My partners grandfather is….
Thomas heron brown
B June 1935 Govan, Glasgow - d April 2015 staffordshire

His father was;

Robert Brown
b. 22 Dec 1895 Patrick Glasgow
M. Catherine Heron on 21st June 1928 at Blytheswood, Glasgow
d. 2 March 1957 Govan, Glasgow

Catherine Heron
b *think* 1907 - based on marriage certificate in Ireland
m. Robert Brown, on 21st June 1928 at Blytheswood, Glasgow
d 12 Jan 1938, Glasgow

I’d also like to confirm Her parents and birth place:

Brigit Cowey and Thomas Heron - I think she’s Irish, maybe him too?
They were living in Glasgow by 1925 though?

And Robert Brown’s fAther seem to be Irish too?

William John Brown (1865-Nov 1914?) and Isabella Dunn (1868-1937) she went on to marry Henderson I believe after he died!

Help! I just keep going around in circles!
My tree is public on ancestry too with all the additional info and family members!

Sarah

I see you have access to Anc so I think this may be the baptism of Catherine Heron http://www.rootschat.com/links/01qu7/

Listed in 1907 in Ballina parish Co Mayo as Catherina Hearon with parents Thomas Hearon and Bridget Cawley address John St

I see your problem - no sign of siblings and Catherine's mothers maiden name appears to be listed as Mccawley or similar when Catherine died :-\

And presumably Thomas Heron and family in 1911 in Govan all born in County Mayo Sligo, Ireland,  Thomas was a labourer in a Shipyard

On this death cert in 1945 in Govan his parenst are listed as Michael Heron Farm Labouer and Catherine Gallaghar
