Hi folk this is who I believe may be Alexander and Jessie smith , Alexander was born around 1852 in Aberdeenshire
And died in 1932
He is a brother of my great great grandfather

Don't know why yours went that way Pat.  Very odd.  (you should be able to delete the photo and edit your comment?)   

Try going to modify and then unclick the tick in attachments

I can’t help with dating, but I did notice what an EXTREMELY tall man that is.
Look at the length of his lower legs, and the size of his feet!

Could the size of his feet be because they are closer to the camera?   Ditto with his legs??
